This scheme requires practitioners to obtain a Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention and Control, ensuring they are well-versed in maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Inspection and Compliance

Sterilisation Procedures

Hand Hygiene

Tattoo artists should thoroughly wash their hands before and after each procedure, using proper techniques with soap and water. Always wear gloves during procedures, changing them between clients. Additional protective gear, such as aprons and masks, should be used as needed to maintain a sterile environment.
