Paring Knives
What Are Paring Knives?
Paring knives are one of the most versatile instruments in a professional chef's kitchen. These short, sharp, all-purpose knives are especially useful for more intricate food preparation. The name paring knife derives from the knife's most common use: paring (or peeling) fruit and vegetables. Paring knives are, however, excellent for de-veining crustaceans and deseeding peppers, particularly bird's eye chilis and scotch bonnets!

Our paring knives range from 5.5cm to 12cm in blade length, with either a straight or curved blade. Our curved 'bird's beak' knives are especially suitable for peeling and other uses where you have to separate two parts of a fruit or vegetable as carefully as possible, such as removing an avocado stone.
